Job summary

Birkenstock Malaysia is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will motivate the sales team, develop business strategies, create promotional materials, and train new staff to ensure smooth store performance.

The role requires at least 2 years in retail management, strong leadership and analytical skills, and the ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in business, retail management or relevant field preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a retail environment, in a managerial capacity role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage sales, P&L and various KPIs in order to achieve the given budget.
• Motivating the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff.
• Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Hiring, training, and overseeing new staff.
• Manage and create the shift of store staff every day and month.
• Manage the whole In-store product display (VMD).
• Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
• Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Developing and arranging promotional material and in-store displays.
