Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a store associate to assist with daily operations, stock checks, shelf replenishment, and friendly customer service.

You will operate the cashier/POS system, ensure displays are well arranged, follow safety procedures, and report damaged items. Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage; 1–3 years retail experience preferred; candidates with supervisory experience encouraged. Willing to work shifts, weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with POS systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and ensure the outlet runs smoothly.
• Receive, check, record, arrange, and return stocks and merchandise.
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Check merchandise condition and report damaged or incorrect items.
• Keep the store clean, neat, organized, and safe.
• Operate the cashier/POS system and store equipment according to company procedures.
• Take good care of company property, equipment, and store assets.
• Assist customers and provide friendly and helpful service.
• Handle customer requests and elevate issues when necessary.
• Follow store safety procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Represent KK Supermart professionally and maintain the company’s service standards.
