Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate in Malaysia to assist shoppers, manage stock, and operate the POS system. You will uphold service standards, help locate products, and maintain a clean store environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of retail experience, willingness to work shifts, and reliable teamwork. Diploma level or higher is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree a bonus.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification; Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage.
• Retail experience of 1–3 years preferred.
• Supervisory or team-leading experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and promptly respond to customer enquiries.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide basic product information.
• Receive, inspect, record, store, and arrange incoming merchandise.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish products on shelves.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, organized, and in good condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable shopping environment.
• Operate the POS system and other store equipment in accordance with company guidelines.
• Handle store property and equipment responsibly and report defects or damages.
• Assist in managing emergency situations and escalate incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the store team in maintaining KK Supermart’s service standards and company image.
