Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Store Supervisor/Assistant to support daily outlet operations and ensure a smooth merchandise flow.

You will oversee stock replenishment, inventory accuracy, merchandising presentation, and compliance with safety guidelines while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma, or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Candidates with experience supervising staff or leading a retail team will have an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Good understanding of store operations and inventory handling.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager/Supervisor in daily outlet operations.
• Support receiving, checking, recording, arranging, and returning merchandise.
• Monitor stock availability and timely replenishment.
• Assist with inventory counts and report stock discrepancies.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and store presentation is high standard.
• Monitor store cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure POS systems, equipment, and machinery are used correctly and safely.
• Assist in protecting company assets and minimizing loss or damage.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Support the team in handling operational issues, emergencies, and incidents.
• Assist with staff coordination and daily task allocation when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain and promote the professional image of KK Supermart.
