Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead the Southern regional retail distribution network, covering Johor. You will own regional sales performance, manage dealer accounts, and drive market expansion with a hands-on leadership style.

Based in Johor Bahru, you will lead a small sales team, conduct regular trade visits, and collaborate with the Managing Director on pricing strategies and performance reporting.

• Balance key account retention with new dealer acquisition, independently prioritizing commercial strategies to drive regional market penetration and monthly sales targets.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 1 to 2 sales executives, overseeing daily field coverage, target tracking, and territory mapping.
• Conduct regular trade visits, resolve dealer queries promptly, and execute localized promotional initiatives to drive sell-out velocity.
• Partner directly with the MD to report regional performance, analyze competitor dynamics, and refine commercial pricing strategies.

We are currently looking for a Retail Sales Manager for a premier global manufacturer of decorative paints and industrial coatings to lead their retail distribution network in the Southern region. This position takes full commercial ownership over retail dealer accounts, hardware store networks, and sales team execution across Johor. It requires your urgent attention.

• Reporting to: Managing Director
• Location: Johor Bahru, Johor
• Take strategic commercial control of a major regional retail portfolio, lead and develop a dedicated team of sales professionals, and drice market expansion for a renowned international manufacturing group.

the experience

• Strong track record in retail sales management, channel distribution, or key account management within the Paint and Coatings industry or related Building Materials/Construction Supplies sector (e.g., cement, hardware, drymix, adhesives).
• Strong familiarity with the Johor / Southern Malaysia retail hardware ecosystem and established dealer networks.
• High commercial acumen with a self-driven, target-oriented mindset capable of balancing new business development with account farming.
