Job summary

Uniqlo Malaysia is seeking a store assistant to welcome customers, help with product selection and stock replenishment. You will prepare the store, greet shoppers, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires a diploma or higher, good English, willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays, and a customer‑oriented, collaborative attitude. Training is provided, and you’ll be encouraged to learn about products and share your ideas to improve

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree or higher.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Flexible to work on shift basis, including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
• Pleasant, well-groomed, and enjoy interacting with people.
• Customer oriented, team player, and possess initiative.
• Have strong integrity, discipline, and honesty at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the store for customers' shopping experience.
• Perform cleaning at merch fixtures, check stock and replenish as needed.
• Greet customers with a smile and offer basket.
• Assist customers with product information and advise on wearing them.
• Be our product specialist.
• Follow training plan and take initiative for self-learning on our products and services.
• Check with superior when in doubt.
• Take ownership of products under your responsibility.
• Understand selling points, challenges and propose ideas to improve for customers' buying.
• Respect the working environment and your colleagues.
• Be polite, a team player and respect space of one another.
• No gossip and small talks that may hurt feelings of others.
