Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Retail Outlet Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a front-line team in a dynamic retail environment.

You will manage inventory, merchandising, budgets, and customer service while ensuring policy adherence and brand standards. A Bachelor degree is required, with 3–5 years in retail leadership and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in retail outlet management or similar leadership role.
• Outstanding sales acumen with a track record of meeting commercial targets.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities to inspire and coach frontline staff.
• In-depth knowledge of retail operations, POS software, stock management, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in basic financial management, budgeting, and expense control.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, inventory, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
• Drive store revenue by leading the retail sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Recruit, train, supervise staff, manage schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain discipline.
• Maintain superior service standards by greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints.
• Monitor cash handling, daily balancing, and maintain accurate records of inventory and sales.
• Coordinate promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and events to boost footfall and sales conversion.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, and brand standards.

• Monitor cash handling processes, perform daily balancing, manage store operational budgets, and maintain accurate records of inventory, sales transactions, and financial reports.
• Coordinate and execute promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and special events to boost customer footfall and maximize sales conversion.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, SOPs, visual presentation guidelines, safety procedures, and brand standards at all times.
