Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Outlet Manager to join our team in Johor on a full-time basis. This is a strategic leadership position that plays a crucial role in driving the success of our retail outlet. As Retail Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service standards, managing staff performance, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a hands‑on manager who can inspire their team, optimise store performance, and represent the brand values of IMIKA EMPIRE SDN BHD. You will be the driving force behind creating a thriving retail environment that maximises profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse retail team to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance objectives
• Oversee all daily outlet operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
• Implement and maintain high standards of customer service across all customer touchpoints
• Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and identify cost‑saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant retail regulations
• Develop and execute local marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive customer footfall
• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Report on outlet performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in retail outlet management or a similar supervisory retail role
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to inspire and develop staff
• Excellent sales acumen with a demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and stock control
• Proficiency in retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
• Strong financial literacy and ability to manage budgets effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills and a customer‑centric approach to retail management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels
• Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to respond effectively to challenges
• Flexibility and willingness to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends as required
• Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Johor
