We are looking for a Retail Operations & Merchandising Executive to help us standardise, improve and strengthen our operations across multiple pharmacy outlets.
You will work closely with management and outlet teams across several key areas including retail merchandising, inventory & purchasing, branch SOP development, operational audits and continuous improvement.

Develop and maintain consistent merchandising standards across all outlets.
Standardise category arrangement, product displays, shelf presentation, price communication and promotional displays.
Improve shelf signage and product information to improve customer shopping experience and reduce unnecessary basic enquiries during peak hours.
Conduct regular outlet visits to review merchandising standards.
Manage routine ordering of assigned non-poison and general retail products based on sales, stock movement and outlet requirements.
Monitor stock levels to identify and minimise stock-outs, overstock and slow-moving products.
Optimise stock across outlets through inter-branch redistribution before purchasing additional stock where appropriate.
Review purchasing and replenishment patterns and recommend improvements to inventory efficiency and stock availability.
Develop and maintain clear, practical SOPs, checklists, visual guides and operational materials for branch operations that can be easily replicated across future outlets as the company expands.
Review existing practices across outlets, identify inconsistencies and work with management and outlet PICs to establish standard best practices.
Ensure SOPs and operational standards are consistently implemented across all outlets through regular review and follow‑up.
Conduct regular operational and merchandising audits to monitor branch compliance with company standards.
Identify operational weaknesses (eg: identify inefficient or repetitive work processes), recommend corrective actions and follow up with outlet teams on agreed improvements.
Prepare concise reports and updates for management, highlighting key findings, issues and improvement progress.
Use AI, Excel and other digital tools to analyse information, improve work efficiency and support better decision‑making.
Identify opportunities to simplify or automate repetitive tasks, reporting, documentation and operational processes.
Use AI responsibly by verifying outputs and maintaining confidentiality of company, employee and customer information.
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Pharmacy‑related studies or another relevant field.

Experience in retail pharmacy, health & beauty, supermarket, convenience store or chain retail is an advantage but not compulsory.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and numbers, learning and using AI/digital productivity tools.
Detail‑oriented, observant and willing to learn and continuously improve existing processes.
Able to communicate and work effectively with different outlet teams and PICs.
Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
Willing to travel between company outlets (Jinjang, Kepong & Segambut) when required.
