Job summary

Design Village Penang is seeking a proactive Leasing Manager support role to assist in planning and implementing leasing strategies. You will contribute to tenancy negotiations and maintain strong tenant relations to reach occupancy targets.

The position requires coordinating with solicitors, project teams, and internal departments to ensure leasing SOP compliance and successful tenant onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in related field.
• 5 years’ experience in property sales and leasing of retail.
• Experience in shopping centre or retail industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Leasing Manager in conceptualization and monitoring of leasing plans.
• Handle tenancy negotiations and prepare offers and agreements.
• Prepare leasing and renewal proposals and administer lease terms.
• Monitor tenants' sales and performance; suggest improvements.
• Coordinate fit-out drawings and pre-opening inspections with tenants.
• Maintain landlord-tenant relationships and manage occupancy costs.
