Job summary

Anaika Collections Sdn Bhd is seeking a Store Operations Assistant to support daily retail functions in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure displays stay fresh, verify incoming stock, and assist in stock management under supervision.

The role requires flexibility with shifts, good physical stamina, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. This position helps maintain a high standard of store presentation across our outlets in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable with retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg and stand/walk for long periods.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum education: SPM or diploma or higher.
• Experience in stock/inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure merchandise display is replenished regularly.
• Check received merchandise for condition and accuracy per delivery notes.
• Monitor stock movement and performance with senior staff.
• Assist Senior Storekeeper/Store PIC/ASM/Store Manager as required.
• Keep the store neat, tidy and safe for staff and customers.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock counts and reconcile with records.

Responsibilities

Operations

• Ensure merchandise display is regularly replenished.
• To ensure all the merchandise received are in good condition, exact quantity as well as other specific details as per delivery notes received.
• To assist Senior Storekeeper / Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager in monitoring the stock movement and performance as and when required.
• To carry out & special task/ ad hoc matters pertaining store/brand operations when required whether it be in special circumstances or not.
• Ensure the store is always kept neat and tidy.

Inventory Integrity

• Responsible for the daily, (if necessary) weekly and monthly stock count assigned by the Senior Storekeeper / Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager
• Ensure stock count corresponds to computerized records by conducting stock count for weekly opening, monthly and quarterly stock take
• Responsible to ensure safe working environment to prevent damage on the merchandises

Requirements

• Must be comfortable to retail hours (shift work, weekends, and Public Holidays)
• Moderate physical activity
• Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 20 kg or standing and/ or walking for more than eight (8) hours per day
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
• Be able to converse and understand English & Bahasa Malaysia
