Job summary

Anaika Collections Sdn Bhd is seeking a Retail Inventory Associate to maintain stock levels, replenish displays, and ensure merchandise quality in a fast-paced store environment.

You will support regular stock counts, stock movement monitoring, and maintain a neat, safe shop floor. Suitable for candidates with 3–5 years of related experience; must be able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Primarily requires strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and adapt to retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure merchandise display is regularly replenished and in good condition.
• Monitor stock movement and assist store leadership in analyzing inventory.
• Lead daily store operations and support opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with computerized records.
• Maintain a neat, organized store environment and prevent theft or loss.

Ensure merchandise display is regularly replenished.

Gathering of data required for the following reports pertaining to sales, customer service, inventory controls and logistics.

To ensure all the merchandise received are in good condition, exact quantity as well as other specific details as per delivery notes received.

To adhere to day-to-day opening and closing operational procedures

To carry out, lead and monitor the stock movement and performance as and when required by the Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager

To carry out, lead and monitor, special task/ ad hoc matters pertaining store/brand operations when required whether it be in special circumstances or not.

Ensure the store is kept neat and tidy at all times.

Inventory Integrity

Responsible for the daily, (if necessary) weekly and monthly stock count and submit the report to the Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager.

Ensure stock count corresponds to computerized records by conducting stock count for weekly opening, monthly and quarterly stock take.

Qualitative security measures to prevent theft and pilferage.

Maintain timely stock control documentation by regularly updating records.

Responsible to ensure safe working environment to prevent damage on the merchandises.

Requirements

Must be comfortable to retail hours (shift work, weekends, and Public Holidays)

Moderate physical activity

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 20 kg or standing and/ or walking for more than eight (8) hours per day

Min 3-5 years of related experience

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.

Be able to converse and understand English & Bahasa Malaysia
