Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Inventory Associate to own end-to-end stock accuracy and flow across three stores, ensuring products are in the right place at the right time and that inventory data is clean for better buying and sales decisions.

You will manage stock intake, counts, inter-store transfers, and SKU maintenance in the POS system, with travel between stores as needed, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in retail inventory, merchandising, or warehouse operations (fashion/retail preferred).
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; POS or inventory management software experience a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with repetitive counting and reconciliation.
• Able to travel between store locations as needed.
• Basic understanding of fashion retail seasonality (collection drops, sales cycles).

Responsibilities

• Manage stock intake, tagging, and allocation for new collections across all stores
• Conduct regular stock counts/audits and reconcile discrepancies (system vs. physical)
• Coordinate inter-store stock transfers based on sales velocity and demand
• Maintain accurate SKU records, sizing/color breakdowns, and product categorization in POS/inventory system
• Monitor stock levels to flag reorder points, slow-movers, and clearance candidates
• Support wholesale and pop-up/event stock logistics
• Prepare inventory reports (stock aging, sell-through, shrinkage) for management
• Liaise with sourcing/production on incoming shipment timelines and discrepancies
• Assist with year-end/season-end stocktake
