Job summary

Hafizi Gadget (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a store associate in Raub, Malaysia to deliver excellent customer service, operate the POS accurately, and keep the sales floor organized. You will handle inventory, assist with WhatsApp inquiries, and use Google Sheets for data entry as required by management.

You will work with a team to hit sales targets, follow all security and loss-prevention policies, and learn about new gadgets to advise customers effectively.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to all shoppers, assisting them with product inquiries, purchases, and any issues they may encounter.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving new stock, checking for damages, and reporting discrepancies.
• Handle customer inquiries and orders received via WhatsApp, providing prompt and helpful responses.
• Utilize Google Sheets for basic data entry and record-keeping as required by the store management.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn about new electronic gadgets and product features to effectively advise customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure smooth store operations.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to security and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and recommendations to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Handle customer complaints and returns with empathy and efficiency, aiming for satisfactory resolutions.
• Support daily retail operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining store security.
• Utilize WhatsApp for customer communication, responding to inquiries and providing updates on orders or promotions.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry in Google Sheets or organizing sales records.
