Job summary

Hafizi Gadget (M) Sdn Bhd is looking for a friendly retail assistant to welcome customers, answer questions, and process purchases at the POS. You will maintain an attractive sales floor and assist with stock and inventory checks, including WhatsApp inquiries and basic data entry in Google Sheets.

You will collaborate with the team to meet sales targets while following store policies and ensuring security and loss prevention guidelines.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and assist with inquiries and purchases.
• Operate POS accurately for cash, card, and other payment methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor with well-displayed stock.
• Assist with inventory and stock intake, noting damages and discrepancies.
• Handle WhatsApp inquiries and orders with prompt responses.
• Use Google Sheets for basic data entry and record-keeping.
• Show willingness to learn about new gadgets and product features.
• Collaborate with team to hit sales targets and ensure smooth operations.
• Follow company policies, including security and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS; handle cash and cards.
• Keep the store tidy and merchandise well-displayed.
• Assist with stock reception, shelving, and regular counts.
• Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
• Handle complaints and returns with empathy and efficiency.
• Support daily store operations, including opening/closing tasks.
• Use WhatsApp to respond to inquiries and provide order updates.
• Assist with admin tasks like data entry in Google Sheets.
