Job summary

3cat is hiring a Retail Associate in Kuala Lumpur to greet customers, help them find the right products and build confidence in purchasing secondhand tech. You will support daily store operations, stock updates, pricing, and online selling activities while meeting sales targets.

No tech expertise required at start, but interest in smartphones and electronics helps. Fresh graduates welcome; weekends and public holidays hours apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Good communication and customer-focused.
• Willing to learn about our products, promotions and store processes.
• Willing to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in retail is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their needs to recommend products.
• Explain product features, pricing, warranty, and store policies.
• Assist with daily, weekly and monthly sales targets through active engagement.
• Support livestream sessions and simple social media content when needed.
• Keep products displayed, labelled and priced; maintain store cleanliness and readiness.
• Assist with stock receiving, tagging, and daily opening/closing activities.
• Follow store SOPs for product handling, transactions and customer service.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and team on campaigns and promotions.
