You’ll greet customers, offer product knowledge on adidas footwear, apparel and accessories, process transactions, maintain store standards, and contribute to hitting store targets.

We are seeking a Retail Associate to join the adidas team at our Mitsui location in Sepang, Selangor. This is a full-time position offered on a 3-month contract basis. As a Retail Associate, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales whilst maintaining our store standards. This role is crucial in creating memorable shopping experiences that reflect adidas's commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. You will work directly with customers on the shop floor, contributing to the achievement of store targets and the overall success of the retail operation.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide expert product knowledge about adidas footwear, apparel, and accessories
• Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs and preferences, offering styling advice and recommendations
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
• Maintain an organised, clean, and visually appealing retail environment through regular stock rotation, merchandising, and display management
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with management regarding inventory needs and discrepancies
• Achieve individual and team sales targets whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Participate in store promotions and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement
• Follow adidas brand standards and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous retail experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in sportswear or consumer products
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping customers
• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting stock and rearranging displays
• Proficiency in handling cash transactions and point-of-sale systems
• A professional appearance and willingness to adhere to dress code standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Knowledge of adidas products or enthusiasm to learn about the brand is advantageous
