Adastria (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is launching its first Malaysian niko and brand store. We are seeking a passionate Retail Leader and Associate Advisor to lead the flagship store, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will train and motivate the team, manage daily operations, merchandising, and inventory, while maintaining a positive, customer-first culture. This role offers growth with an international fashion brand and a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or higher, with retail leadership experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong customer service and team development skills.
• Proficient in English; additional languages a plus.
• Experience in fashion or specialty retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Create and lead a great shopping experience through training and service standards.
• Take ownership of store responsibilities and identify challenges to enhance customer experience.
• Build a positive and respectful workplace by supporting colleagues and collaborating openly.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including team schedule and training.
• Handle product replenishment and visual merchandising tasks when required.
• Manage cashiering, shopfloor support, inventory arrangement, and store loss.

About the role

Take ownership of your store responsibilities, understand its business, identify challenges, and suggest improvements to enhance customer experience and achieve desired results. Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales and operational targets
• Create and lead a great shopping experience through structured training and service standards
• Take ownership of store responsibilities and identify challenges to enhance customer experience
• Build a positive and respectful workplace by supporting colleagues and collaborating openly
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including team schedule and training
• Manage cashiering, shopfloor support, inventory arrangement, and store loss
• Handle product replenishment and visual merchandising tasks when required

About you

• Diploma holder and above
• Good proficiency in English; other languages communication is an added advantage
• At least 3-4 years of retail supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in fashion, apparel, or specialty retail
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store KPIs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems is an advantage
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service with a strong customer-first mindset
• Positive attitude, willing to take initiative and eager to learn
• Ability to work well in a team
• Willing to work on shift basis, including weekends and public holidays
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and take initiative in daily tasks
• 5-day work week (Retail Hours, less than 45 hours per week)
