Adastria (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, launching niko and..., one of Japan's most renowned fashion and lifestyle brands, seeks an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our flagship Malaysia store and help establish the brand's presence.

As Store Manager you will lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales and operational targets, deliver a great shopping experience, and take ownership of store responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or higher
• Good proficiency in English; other languages are a plus
• 3–4 years of retail supervisory or leadership experience in fashion, apparel, or specialty retail
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems, an advantage
• Strong customer-service mindset and passion for great service
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and take initiative

About the role

Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales and operational targets. Create and lead a great shopping experience by following the company's training plan and actively learning new skills to grow your role. Take ownership of your store responsibilities, understand its business, identify challenges, and suggest improvements to enhance customer experience and achieve desired results. Build a positive and respectful workplace by supporting colleagues and collaborating openly to keep a team united and healthy working environment.

About you

Diploma holder and above

Good proficiency in English; other languages communication is an added advantage

At least 3-4 years of retail supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in fashion, apparel, or specialty retail

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store KPIs

Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems is an advantage

Passionate about delivering excellent customer service with a strong customer-first mindset

Positive attitude, willing to take initiative and eager to learn

Ability to work well in a team

Willing to work on shift basis, including weekends and public holidays

Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and take initiative in daily tasks

5-day work week (Retail Hours, less than 45 hours per week)
