Are you a hospitality professional with a sharp mind for business operations? We are seeking a driven, highly organized Cafe Restaurant Supervisor to work in close partnership with the business owners.
In this role, you will act as the operational and administrative role of our cafe. While a passion for F&B is essential, this is a business leadership and management position. Your primary focus will be taking the administrative weight off the owners' shoulders, driving sales growth, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring flawless customer service.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Sales
- Implement local marketing, upsell strategies, and community engagement initiatives to drive daily and monthly sales growth.
- Monitor key financial metrics including cost control, daily revenue targets, transaction averages, and customer retention.
- Partner with the business owners to analyze menu performance, manage margins, and introduce profitable new offerings.
- Manage day-to-day cafe administration, including daily cash handling, sales reconciliations, and weekly operational reporting to the owners.
- Oversee inventory and cost control, stocktakes, and supplier relationships to minimize wastage and optimize food/beverage costs.
- Design efficient staff rosters that optimize labor cost percentages relative to peak and off-peak foot traffic.
- Ensure strict compliance with local health, safety, food hygiene, and employment regulations.
- Set, monitor, and elevate customer service standards on the floor, lead by example, and handle customer feedback professionally.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor frontline service crew and baristas, fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
- Hold regular alignment meetings with the business owners to review KPIs, discuss store health, and execute operational improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Cafe Manager, Assistant Cafe Manager, Restaurant Manager, or in a similar supervisory role within F&B/Retail.
- Business Acumen: Strong basic understanding of hospitality financial metrics (P&L, labor costs, Cost of Goods Sold/COGS).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing POS back-office systems, inventory software, and basic Google Sheets/Excel for reporting.
- Leadership: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of managing and motivating a diverse frontline team.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory if backed by solid experience.
- Language: Fluent in English to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Traits: A proactive "owner-mindset," highly organized, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
