Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure service standards, and drive operational excellence. • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Business, Food & Beverage, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in hospitality, with at least 1 year in supervisory or team leadership role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations.
• Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant crew to ensure high performance.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness & service standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback & complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
• Training and developing team members on service standards and menu knowledge.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene & health regulations.
• Assist in achieving sales targets and controlling operational costs.
• Perform opening & closing duties and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Conduct shift briefings and debriefings to communicate expectations.
