Job summary

Dmk Hospitality Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the service floor and ensure smooth operations. You will oversee the service team, coordinate with the kitchen, handle guest relations and supervise celebration setups to guarantee on-time execution.

We require 2+ years in F&B with supervisory experience, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, and availability for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in F&B, with at least 1 year supervising or leading a team
• Able to stay composed and make decisions during a full service
• Confident dealing with guests directly, including difficult ones
• Working knowledge of POS systems and basic shift reporting
• Good spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Available for weekends, public holidays and split shifts
• Food handling certificate and typhoid vaccination, or willing to obtain
• SPM minimum; hospitality diploma is a plus, not a requirement

Responsibilities

• Run the floor during your shift: open, service, close
• Lead and supervise the service team, assign sections and manage breaks
• Handle guest relations, including complaints, special requests and VIP tables
• Coordinate with the kitchen on timing, pacing and any issues during service
• Oversee our celebration setups so every booked occasion is decorated and executed on time
• Manage daily cash handling, POS, shift reports and end-of-day reconciliation
• Monitor stock levels for service items and raise orders when needed
• Enforce hygiene, safety, halal compliance and grooming standards on every shift
• Train new service crew and hold the team to our standards
• Support the manager with rostering and staff scheduling
