Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure service standards, and drive operational excellence. You will supervise staff, handle customer inquiries, coordinate with the kitchen, manage schedules, and monitor inventory while upholding food safety and health regulations.

• Assist in achieving sales targets and controlling operational costs.
• Perform opening & closing duties and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Conduct shift briefings and debriefings to communicate expectations.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our existing restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, supervising team members & driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations.

Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant crew to ensure high performance.

Monitor food quality, cleanliness & service standards.

Handle customer inquiries, feedback & complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.

Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.

Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage.

Training and developing team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer service excellence.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of supplies as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene & health regulations.

About you

Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Business, Food & Beverage, or related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and motivate staff.

Problem-solving capability and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operations.
