Job summary

Yonny is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in Malaysia. The role requires supervising staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring stock, cleanliness, and food quality meet standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of F&B experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently, even under pressure. Weekend and public holiday availability is expected, with English/Bahasa Malaysia language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of F&B / restaurant experience preferred.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Able to handle pressure and solve problems.
• Willing to work during weekends and public holidays.
• Able to communicate in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth running of the outlet.
• Supervise, train and manage restaurant staff.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints.
• Monitor stock, ordering, cleanliness and food quality.
• Manage staff schedules, attendance and discipline.
• Handle day-to-day operational issues and solve problems independently.
• Ensure SOPs and company standards are followed.
• Prepare basic daily reports and update management on important matters.
