Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Own transport required.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Basic cooking skills.
• Knowledge of office software.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the whole team with weekly meetings to motivate staff and achieve targets.
• Motivate staff and improve performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock according to requirements.
• Ensure hygiene standards are met across areas.
• Conduct regular stock takes.
• Submit reports and admin on time.
• Hold regular performance appraisals and identify training needs.

Job description

At least 3+ years experienced in managing a Japanese restaurant. Be able to run errands for shop, etc, buying groceries for shop

Must have own transportation to work

Punctuality is very important

Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility

Basic cooking skills to oversee the whole kitchen

Working knowledge with general office PC applications

Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail

The ability to anticipate customer needs, multitask and direct quickly

Must be flexible with working weekends and holidays

Responsibility

Able to work independently to lead the whole team, etc: weekly meeting to improve, achieve target, motivate staffs, understanding the need of the company

Good interpersonal skills with customers and staff members

Think of new ways to bring in more sales

Ensure the restaurant is clean and stocked with the stipulated requirements

Ensure the company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all areas

Ensure that regular stock takes are conducted

Ensure that reports and administration requirements are timely submitted

Hold regular performance appraisals with staff, identifying areas for development and training needs ensuring that training is affected
