Job summary

A&W Restaurants Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead shifts, coach crew, and drive smooth service during peak hours. You’ll take operational control, monitor performance, and ensure CHAMPS standards are met.

With at least 2 years in restaurant management, you’ll have opportunities for promotion to Restaurant Manager in 12–18 months, plus benefits including medical and dental coverage, EPF/SOCSO, leave, meal allowances, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in restaurant/hospitality management (supervisor or assistant manager level).
• QSR or fast-food experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Good understanding of food safety, inventory control, and cash management.
• Responsible and maintain positive attitude with a high level of energy at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage Operations – Handle inventory ordering, staff scheduling, daily reporting, and maintain food safety compliance.
• Develop Your Team – Coach and train crew members, conduct performance reviews, and build the next generation of leaders.
• Learn the Business – Your Restaurant Manager will mentor you on full P&L management, strategic planning, and multi‑unit operations to prepare you for promotion.
