Job summary

Wan Husin & Associates Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to lead supervision and coordination of mechanical works at the construction site. You will ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.

You will review shop drawings and method statements, coordinate with design consultants, and monitor installation of mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Registration with BEM is mandatory.
• Experience in mechanical site supervision and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervision and coordination of Mechanical works at the construction site.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements; coordinate clarifications with design consultants.
• Monitor the installation of mechanical systems (AHU/ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary) within the project scope.
• Monitor progress, quality, and workmanship; address site issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, the client, and authorities.
• Attend site meetings and prepare technical and progress reports.
• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and handover.

Job description

Monitor the installation of air-conditioning and ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, and other Mechanical systems within the project scope.

Monitor work progress, quality, and workmanship, and address site issues.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, the client, and relevant authorities.

Attend site meetings and prepare technical and progress reports.

Oversee inspections, testing and commissioning, defect rectification, and project handover.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Relevant experience in Mechanical site supervision and project coordination.

Experience in school or institutional building projects is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Mechanical building services and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
