Wan Husin & Associates Sdn Bhd seeks a qualified Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee mechanical works at a major construction site. You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements, and maintain comprehensive site diaries and progress reports.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of five years of site supervision experience, with a preference for candidates with flood mitigation or pumping station exposure.

Qualificações

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of site supervision experience.
• Experience in flood mitigation, pumping stations, water control gates, or related infrastructure is advantageous.
• Good technical knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and inspect mechanical works at the construction site.
• Ensure contractors' work complies with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain site diaries, inspection records and progress reports.
• Check materials and equipment delivered to the site against approved submissions.
• Monitor installation of pumps, water control gates, pipework, and related mechanical equipment.
• Identify and report defects and non-compliance and monitor rectification works.
• Coordinate with contractors and site personnel on daily activities.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and record results.

Conduct daily site inspections and maintain site diaries, inspection records, and progress reports.

Check materials and equipment delivered to the site against approved submissions.

Monitor the installation of pumps, water control gates, pipework, and associated Mechanical equipment.

Identify and report defects, non-compliance, and site issues, and monitor rectification works.

Coordinate with contractors and site personnel on daily work activities.

Witness testing and commissioning activities and record the results.

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in site supervision.

Experience in flood mitigation, pumping stations, water control gates, or related infrastructure projects is an advantage.

Good technical knowledge of Mechanical systems and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsible, firm, and able to work independently on site.
