Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc is seeking a proactive Telesales professional in Malaysia to generate sales over the phone and maintain strong customer relationships. You will close deals, answer inquiries, and support the sales team with accurate order processing.

The ideal candidate has proven telesales or customer service experience, strong English, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with SAP is a plus, and resilience to rejection will help you exceed quotas in a

Qualifications

• Proven experience as telesales or other sales/customer service role.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
• Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. SAP).
• Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.
• Preferably 1–2 years technical sales experience in manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Contact existing customers to upsell / renew service contract.
• Answer questions about service offering of the company.
• Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
• Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
• Enter and update customer information in the database.
• Take and process orders in an accurate manner.
• Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.
• Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
• Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
