Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Development Executive for Renewable Energy / BESS in Johor Bahru. The role is permanent with working hours of 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Remuneration is up to RM7,000 basic plus transport allowances/claims and a variable bonus.

You will identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, generate leads, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver proposals and manage client relationships. Willingness to travel locally is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in business development, B2B sales, account management or solution sales.
• Exposure to renewable energy, solar, BESS, EMS, electrical engineering or technical solutions would be advantageous.
• Willing to travel locally for client meetings, exhibitions and industry events when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the renewable energy, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) sectors.
• Conduct market research to identify prospective clients, partners and emerging industry opportunities.
• Generate leads through calls, emails, networking, exhibitions and industry events.
• Arrange and attend client meetings to understand operational and commercial requirements.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and solution pitches with support from technical and internal teams.
• Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and support the progression of opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, business partners and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate with technical, project and operations teams to support proposal development and project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of client discussions, sales activities and business opportunities.
• Provide market feedback and contribute to business expansion plans.
