Job summary

IntelliPro's client, a leading paints and coatings company, is expanding its sales team in Malaysia and seeks a results-driven Sales Manager to cover the Southern region (Johor and nearby areas).

You will drive the sales of heavy-duty industrial and protective coatings to manufacturers, shipyards, and marine customers, while developing regional plans to achieve revenue, volume and margin targets. You will collaborate with dealers and field teams to secure new business and manage key accounts.

Qualifications

• Eight years of B2B sales experience in industrial coatings or related fields.
• Established network within manufacturing and marine industries in Johor and surroundings.
• Proven track record of developing new business and managing key accounts and dealer channels.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently in a remote, field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of industrial and protective coatings across the Southern region.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategy and business plan to meet targets.
• Identify and secure new accounts, including manufacturers, shipyards, OEMs and asset owners.
• Build long-term relationships with decision makers, specifiers, and dealers.
• Work with distributors to expand market coverage and support joint activities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders, and negotiate pricing per guidelines.
