Monroe Consulting Group, a premier Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with a Medical Device/ Equipment company to hire an R2 Remote Engineer for APAC. Based in Selangor, this role provides advanced remote support to distributors and field engineers, ensuring timely resolutions and high levels of customer service across the APAC region.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, English fluency, and the ability to work across time zones.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, field service, or service engineering.
• English fluency required; Asian language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 remote technical support for APAC distributors and field staff.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex product, system, and application issues.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Service Engineering on high level escalations and corrective actions.
• Maintain ownership of cases from escalation to closure and resolution.
• Develop technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
