Job summary

CNS Worldwide Executive Search is recruiting on behalf of an American-French technology company for a Support & Field Services Engineer based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Travel 30–40% across APAC to install, configure, and support environmental monitoring equipment.

You will work with customers onsite and remotely, deliver training, configure software platforms, troubleshoot hardware and software, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations across APAC, Europe, and the US.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in field service, technical support, installation, engineering, or a related role.
• Comfortable using hand tools and carrying out onsite installations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication abilities.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Willing and able to travel approximately 30–40% across APAC.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across APAC for installations, training, technical support, and project work.
• Install and configure environmental monitoring equipment, sensors, data loggers, and related hardware.
• Configure software platforms and support customer implementations.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely.
• Participate in facility mapping studies and validation-related projects.
• Deliver customer training on hardware and software solutions.
• Support customers with user configuration, permissions, alarms, reports, and system functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, and customer success teams across APAC, Europe, and the US.
• Develop FAQs, user guides, technical documentation, and knowledge resources.
• Share customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
