Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, partners with a leading organisation in the Industrial sector to recruit a Regional Product Support Engineer - Electronic based in Malaysia. This role provides regional technical expertise across electronic systems, controllers, sensors, and automation technologies to ensure product reliability and operational excellence.

You will work with global teams, support troubleshooting, validation, and lifecycle management, and lead cost-down

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, automation or mechatronics.
5+ years experience in industrial electronics or automation.
Experience with controllers, PLCs, embedded systems, sensors, or software-based control systems.
Experience in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, validation or field trials.
Experience in supplier evaluation or cost-reduction projects is desirable.
Experience in international/regional support is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Act as regional technical expert for electronic components, computer and controllers.
Provide technical support for region-wide electronic product portfolio including sensors and cameras.
Diagnose complex hardware, software, communication, and integration issues with service and engineering teams.
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, upgrades and lifecycle management of electronic products.
Translate field issues into documented technical requirements and improvement proposals.
Deliver technical training to stakeholders as required.
