Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to manage an SME portfolio and achieve banking targets in Kuala Lumpur.

The role focuses on cross-selling products, acquiring new customers, and executing strategic plans while ensuring regulatory compliance; collaboration with product teams on Trade, Forex, and Cash Management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in relationship management for SME/Corporate lending.
• Credit knowledge and banking know-how preferred.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years’ banking experience acceptable for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned SME portfolio with aim to meet personal and business centre targets.
• Cross-sell the Bank’s products and services to meet customer needs and financial objectives.
• Acquire new quality loan/deposit customers.
• Execute business plans and strategies as set by the Bank.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations governing the Bank’s business.
• Collaborate with product specialists to enhance utilization of banking facilities including Trade, Forex, and Cash Management Solutions.

To manage the assigned SME portfolio with the objective of meeting personal and business centre targets.

To continuously cross-sell the Bank’s products & services, with the objective of meeting the customer needs and achieving the Bank’s financial objectives.

To acquire new quality loan / deposit customers.

To execute business plans and strategies set by the Bank.

To comply with all relevant rules and regulations governing the Bank’s business.

To collaborate with product specialists in enhancing utilization of banking facilities, including by not limited to,

Requirement

A University Degree / Diploma

Banking know-how, credit knowledge preferred

Fresh graduate or those with 1-2 years of working experience with basic banking know-how

Minimum 2-3 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management (for Account Manager) / Minimum 3-5 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management (for Senior Account Manager)
