Job summary

SME Bank Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Relationship Management for our Seremban Enterprise Centre. The role focuses on marketing, credit evaluation, and end-to-end client relationship management for SME networks.

The candidate will assess financing needs, propose suitable bank solutions, ensure compliance, and manage post-disbursement activities, including annual reviews and governance. 3+ years in SME banking is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/banking/business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in SME or commercial banking.
• Experience in credit evaluation/analysis and understanding financial statements.
• Ability to structure financial solutions and packaging for SMEs.
• Good interpersonal, negotiations and analytical skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Malaysian business environment.

Responsibilities

• Marketing, solicit and credit evaluation for the network/business units.
• Propose suitable bank products that fit customers’ business needs.
• Comply with internal and external standards, risk and compliance in financing activities.
• Provide end-to-end customer relationship management including monitoring legal documentation to disbursement.
• Plan, manage and monitor collection and post-disbursement activities including annual reviews.
• Manage changes to financing terms (pre/post disbursement).
• Ensure compliance to all rules, policies, and client charters.
• Maintain staff competency and motivation in the region.
• Ensure compliance and reporting on AMLA, fraud and other misconduct.
