Job summary

Lalamove Malaysia is seeking a Public Affairs Associate to support regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and external dispute resolution. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Communications, Law, Economics, or other related disciplines.
• Suitable for entry-level candidates, including fresh graduates and those with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated, independent with strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Represent Lalamove at hearings before the Consumer and Gig Worker Tribunals and coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile evidence and submissions.
• Draft formal response letters, explanatory statements, and incident reports in Bahasa Melayu and English within deadlines.
• Attend government working group meetings, ministry town halls, industry association sessions, and public policy forums. Brief leadership on regulatory developments affecting the platform economy.
• Monitor legislative amendments and political developments impacting platform delivery and gig economy regulation.
