Job summary

Lalamove Malaysia is seeking a Driver Community & Fleet Acquisition Associate in Penang to strengthen our driver ecosystem and expand our partner network. You will identify driver supply partners, onboard fleets, and build relationships with automotive groups and operators.

This role requires strong communication, field presence, and a practical, on-the-ground mindset to uncover opportunities and gather actionable feedback for improving our local driver network and delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and open-minded, able to build rapport with diverse people.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Hands-on, street-smart approach with field experience.
• Able to identify opportunities and translate observations into actions.

Responsibilities

• Scout and onboard fleet owners, transport operators, car rental companies, and other businesses with driver access.
• Build relationships with referrers, influencers, and automotive associations.
• Develop new driver acquisition channels (workshops, dealers, driving schools, online communities).
• Promote Driver-Refer-Driver programme and explain eligibility and benefits.
• Manage referrer and affiliate activities to generate high-quality driver leads.
• Engage drivers on the ground to capture feedback and insights for internal teams.
• Monitor competitor activities and market developments to keep initiatives competitive.
• Establish partnerships with car clubs and event organisers for opportunities.
• Support field activations and community engagement to boost visibility.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve onboarding issues with internal teams.
• Maintain records of prospects, engagements, and outcomes for regular reporting.
