Job summary

Wipro Consumer Care (LDW) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the East Coast (Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan) to lead overall East Coast business, harness a robust distributor network, and drive sales targets in the general trade channel.

You will develop distributor strategies, coach and develop teams, monitor performance, and coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align activities with regional goals.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in FMCG regional sales leadership.
• Strong GT channel and distributor management experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Data-driven, analytical, and execution-focused.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, or related field.

Regional Sales Manager -East Coast

Location: Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan

Responsibilities

• Manage overall Business for East coast Region
• Develop and implement distributor management strategies to optimize performance and meet sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Monitor and analyze distributor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align distributor activities with overall business strategies.
• Provide training and support to distributors to enhance their effectiveness and market presence.
• Oversee the execution of sales plans and promotional activities in the general trade channel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards across distributor operations.
• Prepare and present regular reports on distributor performance and market trends for senior management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to support business objectives.
• Coordinate product launches, promotional activities, and customer engagement programs.

Requirements

• A strong commercial leader with deep GT channel expertise.
• Highly experienced in managing distributor ecosystem

Experience

• At least 8-10 years’ managerial role experience in FMCG industry preferably beauty or personal care industry
• Preferred experience in UL/P&G/RB/BDF/Nestle/SCJ/CP/KC/Mondelez
• Has worked in East coast Region or willing to shift
