Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer or Fresh Graduate with a degree in Electrical/Mechatronics to drive regional growth in industrial control and automation solutions. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, pitching PLC/SCADA-based automation, and building strong client relationships across assigned regions.
You will collaborate with internal specialists to tailor end-to-end customer solutions, prepare quotes, and help meet sales targets while enjoying a competitive package
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
- 1-2 years of sales engineering experience (fresh graduates with technical background welcome).
- Basic understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and nurture relationships with existing industrial clients.
- Pitch technical automation solutions, including PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, and robotics.
- Conduct client site visits to assess technical constraints and propose optimal equipment setups.
- Prepare commercial quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales orders to meet targets.
- Collaborate with internal technical specialists to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.
