Job summary

PRECIOUS FOOD PRODUCTS SDN BHD is seeking a field-based Retail Operations Lead to oversee a portfolio of outlets across Sarawak. Based in Kuching, Sibu, or Bintulu, you will drive sales performance, uphold SOPs, and coach outlet supervisors through regular store visits and audits.

You will collaborate with warehouse and support teams to resolve issues, analyze performance data, and coordinate promotions across stores. Willingness to travel and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail, F&B, supermarket, or fresh food outlet operations.
• Prior experience managing or supervising multiple outlets preferred.
• Strong leadership and people development skills: able to coach supervisors, not just direct them.
• Analytical and detail-oriented: comfortable reviewing sales data, audit scores, and operational metrics.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to prioritise and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
• Good communication and coordination skills across teams and levels.
• Fluent in BM.
• Willing to travel outstation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and drive sales performance across your portfolio of outlets, with accountability for hitting combined monthly and annual targets.
• Conduct regular store visits and structured audits covering safety, hygiene, product display, service quality, and stock management.
• Follow up on audit findings: track that issues identified are corrected promptly and that repeat failures are resolved at the root cause.
• Respond to inventory shortage flags raised by the warehouse or inventory team within required timeframes; investigate and close outstanding issues.
• Coach and develop outlet supervisors on day-to-day operations, SOP compliance, and customer service standards.
• Handle escalated outlet issues including stock shortages, staff matters, equipment breakdowns, and customer complaints.
• Coordinate across outlets, warehouse, and support functions to resolve operational issues.
• Review outlet performance data, customer feedback, and competitor activity; surface findings and recommend improvements.
• Support planning and execution of promotions and seasonal campaigns across your stores.
