Job summary

Durocom Battery HQ in Malaysia is seeking a Retail Executive to lead and grow our retail operations nationwide. You will oversee multiple branches, drive sales performance, and ensure operational excellence across all locations, coordinating with store teams to deliver consistent customer experiences.

The role requires 2-3 years in retail operations or automotive settings, strong communication and leadership, and willingness to travel between branches.

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years of relevant retail operations / automotive experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Able to manage multiple branches and teams.
• Good understanding of sales, stock management and store operations.
• Proactive, organised and results-driven.
• Willing to travel between branches across Malaysia.
• Automotive / battery / automotive retail experience is an added advantage.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written). Mandarin is advantageous for vendor communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage up to 5 retail branches across Malaysia
• Monitor branch sales performance and achieve sales targets
• Manage stock take, inventory accuracy and stock movement
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with branch teams
• Ensure branches follow company SOPs, policies and operational standards
• Monitor daily store operations, merchandising and store conditions
• Identify operational issues and work with branches to resolve them
• Support and motivate branch teams to improve sales performance
• Prepare regular reports on sales, stock and branch performance
