Job summary

CelcomDigi Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Retail Leader to oversee all store operations, drive sales, customer experience, and staff performance across our retail network. You will mentor staff, ensure compliance, and implement initiatives to elevate store performance while upholding the CD Retail Culture.

The role requires a minimum diploma or degree and 5–8 years in telecoms or retail, with proven leadership and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any relevant discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant work experience in telecoms or retail.
• Proven experience leading, managing, and motivating a team with minimal supervision.
• Good knowledge of retail management best practices; experience in Retail Specialist or Retail Expert roles is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong people management skills and effective communication.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical mindset, and data-analysis familiarity.
• Positive, collaborative, and results-driven mindset with adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth store operations to maximize sales, enhance customer experience, and control costs.
• Organize and delegate tasks to staff, ensuring efficient and successful store management.
• Monitor and manage staff performance in sales, service, customer experience, and compliance.
• Maintain seamless operations across cash handling, inventory, store layout, displays, and merchandising.
• Develop and mentor staff, providing motivation, coaching, and guidance to ensure high standards.
• Enforce compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Analyze store reports and implement relevant initiatives for quick operational improvements.
• Provide feedback to elevate retail standards and act as a role model of CD Retail Culture.
