Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a District Manager (Retail) to drive sales growth, improve operations, and elevate showroom performance across multiple outlets. You will lead and coach store managers, implement campaigns, and ensure service excellence.

The role requires 3–5 years in retail management, own transport, and willingness to travel between outlets, including weekends and public holidays. You will coordinate with HQ Marketing, HR, Operations, and Warehouse to maintain smooth retail

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in retail management or operations.
• Experience managing multiple retail outlets/branches with responsibility for sales targets and team performance.
• Own transport and willingness to travel between outlets.
• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays as required by retail business.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate Branch Managers / showroom sales teams to maximize sales performance and customer service.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, promotional activities, roadshows and in-store campaigns to drive sales and increase customer traffic.
• Provide product knowledge, sales technique and customer service training to showroom staff.
• Identify performance gaps and provide continuous coaching and guidance to the sales teams.
• Monitor manpower planning, attendance, discipline and staff performance across assigned outlets.
• Ensure proper management of stock, inventory, product display and showroom facilities.
• Work closely with HQ departments to ensure smooth retail operations.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and outlet performance reports, highlighting key issues, achievements and improvement plans.
