Job summary

BIPO in Malaysia seeks a Payroll System Analyst to act as the system solution provider for regional payroll products. You will analyze and test functionality reported by local and regional teams and advise whether a change is required.

You will understand employment and statutory regulations across payroll countries, raise change requests when discrepancies are found, and write clear Payroll Functional Specifications for R&D and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any relevant field.
• At least 3 years' HRMS/payroll product experience.
• Regional payroll experience preferred.
• Hands-on payroll analysis, solution design, testing, and writing Payroll Functional Specifications.
• Basic SQL skills.
• Proactive with accountability.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the system solution provider for the regional payroll product.
• Analyse and test payroll product functionality reported by local and regional teams, and advise whether a change request to the system is required.
• Conduct business process analysis and propose system solutions for enhancement, customization or new functionality requests from local and regional teams.
• Understand the employment and statutory regulations of the payroll countries and ensure the system aligns with them.
• Raise change requests when discrepancies are found between the payroll system and country regulations.
• Write clear Payroll Functional Specifications that all parties can follow, including the R&D and Quality Assurance teams.
• Take ownership of deliverables and meet deadlines and work demands.
• Ensure assigned key performance indicators are met.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required.
