Job summary
LANXESS Deutschland GmbH in Malaysia is seeking an Additive Specialist to drive lubricant additives sales, partner with R&D for solutions, and expand our regional distributor network across automotive, industrial, marine, and EV fluid segments.
The role requires 2–5 years in lubricant-related roles, a chemical background, and willingness to travel across Malaysia and ASEAN for customer visits and events.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in lubricant sales, technical service, or blending.
- Strong understanding of lubricant fundamentals and base oils.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
- Growth mindset, strong communication, and entrepreneurial problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel across Malaysia and ASEAN.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth of lubricant additives across Malaysia.
- Collaborate with R&D and technical experts to solve formulation challenges.
- Build relationships with lubricant manufacturers, national oil companies, and distributors.
- Lead distributor networks with product knowledge and sales tools.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and EV fluid topics.
- Manage sales forecasts, plans, pricing, and CRM data.
