Job summary

Igloo is seeking a Business Development Manager (Agency) in Kuala Lumpur to drive revenue, identify growth opportunities, and recruit/activate insurance partners. You will train partners on sales processes, product offerings, and the Igloo app, while coordinating with insurers and internal teams to achieve targets.

Join our regional insurtech team to expand agency networks across SEA, working with multiple partners and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in the Insurance industry, preferably in Non-Life or General Insurance or in Corporate Solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build credibility with new business partners.
• High energy and driven to meet sales targets.
• Adaptable and able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets.
• Identify market opportunities for business growth.
• Lead onboarding and training of new partners on sales process, product, and app.
• Prepare sales reports reflecting pipeline and performance; provide recommendations.
• Propose business program proposals with expected sales performance to insurers/takaful operators.
