ROOTS APAC is a regional brand experience consultancy supporting global brands across Asia Pacific with events and engagements. We are seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee operations, payroll, recruitment and compliance for Singapore and Malaysia.

The role covers HR systems, policy improvements and office administration, requiring 5+ years in HR, strong knowledge of local laws, and hands-on payroll experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia employment laws, payroll and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience in full-spectrum HR operations and payroll administration.
• Experience with TimeSoft HRMS is an added advantage.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Experience in an SME or fast-paced agency environment is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Oversee full-spectrum HR operations across Singapore and Malaysia, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws, statutory contributions and HR regulations in both countries.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Manage employee training processes and employee relations initiatives to promote a collaborative workplace culture.
• Review and improve HR policies and workflows to enhance efficiency; manage HRMS systems and data accuracy.
• Oversee office administration, employee insurance, asset management and vendor coordination.

Job Scope:

HR Operations & Compliance

• Oversee full-spectrum HR operations across Singapore and Malaysia, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws, statutory contributions and HR regulations in both countries.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation.

Talent & People Management

• Management employee training processes.
• Management of employee relations matters (engagement initiatives and promote collaborative workplace culture)

HR Systems & Process Improvement

• Review and improve HR policies and workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Manage HRMS systems and ensure accurate employee data management.

Office Administration

• Manage employee assets, equipment, software licences and access records.
• Oversee general office administration, employee insurance and vendor coordination.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably covering Singapore and Malaysia.
• Good knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia employment laws, payroll and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience in full-spectrum HR operations and payroll administration.
• Experience with Times Software's TimeSoft HRMS will be an added advantage.
