Talent Trader Group is seeking a Senior HR Executive / Assistant HR Manager to act as the regional HR business partner for multiple Asian markets, including Singapore and Malaysia.
Based in Malaysia, you will execute end-to-end HR operations, manage payroll and benefits, handle employee relations, and lead regional implementations of global HR initiatives like Workday. This role reports to global HR leadership and requires strong compliance knowledge.
The Senior HR / Assistant HR Manager serves as the regional HR Business Partner overseeing end-to-end operational human resources, compliance, talent acquisition, and workforce planning across multiple Asian markets, including Singapore and Malaysia. Based in Malaysia, this role combines hands‑on regional execution with strategic involvement in global HR initiatives.
Reporting to global HR leadership, you will act as the primary regional point of contact for managers and employees, manage localized payroll and benefits, handle employee relations across diverse legal frameworks, and lead regional implementations of global policies, learning and development frameworks, and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday).
Lifecycle Management: Manage end-to-end HR operations across assigned Asian markets, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance reviews, offboarding, and workforce planning.
Payroll & Benefits: Oversee local payroll administration, benefit plans, and statutory contributions in full compliance with country-specific regulations.
Employee Relations: Handle employee relations, grievances, and organizational change initiatives in alignment with local employment acts, engaging in‑country advisors where necessary.
Regional Representation: Represent the Asia region within global HR forums and collaborate with international peers on compensation benchmarking, talent management, and policy harmonization.
System & Policy Execution: Lead regional implementation of global HR initiatives, adapting corporate guidelines to local legal and cultural requirements; drive regional rollouts of global HRIS tools (e.g., Workday).
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse employment regulations (such as the Singapore Employment Act, Malaysian Employment Act, and regional labor laws) to ensure localized policies remain compliant.
Governance & Audit: Support internal HR audits, maintain accurate employee records across the region, and enforce data governance standards.
