Job summary

FWD Takaful Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Regional Head to oversee all business operations and strategic initiatives within a designated region, driving growth, profitability, and market share for our Takaful products.

The role requires a senior leader with a Bachelor's (Master's preferred) and a track record of regional success in financial services, with deep knowledge of Takaful principles, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial services or insurance, with at least 5 years in leadership or regional management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving regional growth.
• Strong understanding of Takaful principles, products, and Malaysian regulatory landscape.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within the designated region.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with Takaful principles.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales and operations professionals.
• Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Drive sales growth and achieve regional targets for Takaful products.
• Oversee the effective management of regional budgets, resources, and expenses.
• Establish and maintain relationships with agents, distributors, customers, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with Takaful regulations and internal policies.
• Identify initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance to senior management.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to optimize regional offerings.
